Clean Hands, Healthy Futures in Nyabirehe With $7,565 in grants from World Connect, teachers in Nyabirehe, Rwanda, were trained in soap making to combat intestinal worms that kept students out of school. Thanks to this effort, the infection has been eradicated. The community co-invested $5,749 and raised an additional $10,850, allowing the local primary school to build a soap factory, sell soap, and donate it to families in need.
